Annually maintenance
This maintenance will include and not limited for the following activities:
• Visual inspection of the UPS & Listening tests
• Main components visual check
• Check of environment, temperature, dust, moisture, room vents,
• Take all measurements from the UPS controller (input & output voltage, current, frequency…..)
• Check the history indicated alarms from the UPS controller
• Functional checkout and test of the UPS diagnostic systems.
• Inspection of all power cabling for abrasions and burn spots, signs of overheating, swelling, leaking, etc.
• Examination of printed circuit board alignments.
• Conduction of thermal scans on electrical connections to ensure all are tight and not generating heat, which is the first and sometimes only indication of a problem. A non-evasive diagnostic tool helps technicians identify hot spots invisible to the human eye.
• Measuring the nose level of the UPS and check for extra vibration
• Replacement of the air filters. Visual check for liquid contamination from batteries and capacitors.
• Cleaning and vacuuming of UPS equipment enclosures.
• Check of HVAC equipment and performance related to temperature and humidity.
• Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing
• Check and calibration of each system , to include circuit breakers, meters, and alarm levels for frequency, input & output voltage, current, transfer, trip, alarm, tolerance etc.
• Cleaning and tightening all power connections at the input and output terminals, at all circuit breakers, and at the terminal posts and fuses on the rectifier and inverter legs.
• Provisioning of a complete operational test.
• Load balancing evaluation
• Phase rotation/site wiring checks
• All voltage & current tolerances checking, Short circuit, Over voltage, under voltage, discharge voltage, Voltage reversal, High temperature, Low temperature , Misuse, Abuse,--------.
• UPS Upgrading if needed.
• Battery operation and return
• Battery Load Testing
• Battery Thermal imaging test
• Battery Calorimetry
• Battery Changing if needed.
• Tracking record & forecasting coordinates with our software data base system .
• More---
• Provide computer analysis and historical archiving of all battery data and furnish an annually Maintenance Routine Report.
